Code Vein II Removes Denuvo DRM From Steam Version

Fans learned from the Code Vein II Steam Database page that the game’s Steam version no longer uses Denuvo DRM. 

For those unaware, Denuvo DRM is an infamous third-party anti-tampering tool usually associated with making games perform worse than they should. Ideally, this removal will provide greater stability and efficiency.

About Code Vein II

Code Vein II builds upon its predecessor’s signature partner-based combat and Blood Code systems while introducing new mechanics. Two weapon types, Rune Blades and Dual Swords, join the returning one-handed swords, bayonets, halberds, and great hammers. The new Jail system enhances blood-draining attacks with expanded abilities.

Companions are sealed within the protagonist’s heart-shaped core. They can either be summoned to fight alongside you or channeled directly through the new Assimilation system, amplifying the Hunter’s strength.

Players can also summon a motorcycle, a spell-based vehicle designed for traversing highways and open roads. Partners ride alongside you, too.

Code Vein II is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

The Mask of Idris DLC and version 2.01 update are now available.
