It Takes Two Out On Nintendo Switch 2 Next Month

Electronic Arts and Hazelight Studios have confirmed a release date for It Takes Two on Nintendo Switch 2.

You will be challenged to untangle the complicated web that Cody and May have become trapped in, thanks to a magic spell that turns them into dolls. Each level has looked to deliver “a uniquely metaphorical gameplay experience that tells a universal story of relationships,” as the couple must work together to save their fractured marriage which lies on the brink of divorce.

Turn Me Up Games has ported the game to the portable home console successor, on which you can expect “higher resolution, improved frame rates, and richer visual effects for a smoother, more immersive experience – while playing with friends across platforms.”

Those who already own the game on Nintendo Switch will be able to update to the Nintendo Switch 2 version for free. Whereas the Friend’s Pass lets you invite a second player to join the adventure for free and even across different platforms (Nintendo Switch 2, PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4), or you can use GameShare to connect with Nintendo Switch players.

It Takes Two will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide on 15 October 2026.
