Odin Valhalla Rising brings the thunder with the arrival of its Thunderbringer

We have to admit we’re surprised that it took Odin: Valhalla Rising, a mobile MMORPG that has a whole Nordic myth aesthetic, this long to add a class that wields thunder, lightning, and hammers. But hey, better late than never because the game does indeed offer that option with the recent release of the Thunderbringer class.

Fans should not be surprised to learn that the Thunderbringer has a variety of hammer-centric melee attacks and electricity-based skills that make him an overwhelming force with some solid crowd control. For those who want to switch out their character to the new smashy hotness, there’s a class change option temporarily available between now and September 9th.

Other features of this most recent update include some new attack-type stats, some new events, and a Norns Schedule feature that unlocks automatic functions like dungeon clearing or buying consumables, just in case you can’t be bothered with all of that pesky game playing while playing a game.
