Gunnar Is Bringing Zenless Zone Zero to Life — Again
The official product design for the Zenless Zone Zero Orphie & Magus from Gunnar Optiks reads, "In New Eridu, chaos isn't just a challenge, it's an opportunity. Few navigate it with the precision and partnership of Orphie & Magus. This performance eyewear captures their legendary dynamic, wrapped in the pulse-pounding aesthetic of Zenless Zone Zero. Built for players who refuse to slow down, these frames combine performance with bold street style."
The description continues, "Angular lines and distinctive color accents create visual impact, while asymmetrical temple colorways mirror the duo's complementary strengths. Subtle faction iconography grounds every detail in ZZZ's world. At the core lies GUNNAR's patented lens technology, engineered to reduce digital eye strain during marathon sessions. Your vision stays sharp and fatigue free. Because in New Eridu, and in victory, clarity is everything."
Each pair of Zenless Zone Zero Orphie & Magus from Gunnar Optiks comes with a matching microfiber pouch and cleaning cloth, as well as a 12-month warranty. The Zenless Zone Zero Orphie & Magus frames come in at 136 mm wide and 140 mm at the temples. Each pair are available in Gunnar's focus and sunglass lenses, as well as prescription options.
Zenless Zone Zero was released in 2024 for Windows PC and PlayStation 5, as well as iOS and Android platforms. Developed by miHoYo, Zenless Zone Zero drops players into a sprawling world dotted by supernatural disaster zones known as Hollows. Players take on the role of a Proxy, or hired guide, who can interact with and hire Agents that the player can take control of to explore Hollows and combat whatever monstrous threats hide within.

Much of the game takes place in the post-apocalyptic city-state of New Eridu, where a strange substance known as Ether is used to provide power for the city's infrastructure and residents. The game largely revolves around siblings Belle and Wise, two professional Proxies who spend their non-working hours digging into the mystery surrounding their mentor's involvement in expanding one of the planet's deadliest Hollows prior to the events of Zenless Zone Zero.
Since its release in 2024, Zenless Zone Zero has been downloaded tens of millions of times, and has received surprisingly stellar review scores for a free-to-play title that relies so heavily on various gacha mechanics. As of the time of writing, Zenless Zone Zero boasts a 77/100 Meta Score via review aggregator Metacritic, as well as a 7.0/10 User Score on the platform, the latter of which was averaged across more than 800 user-submitted ratings.
